One of my fav hard rap albums (on first listen) since Push dropped Daytona. Will definitely dig into the back catalogue of this guy a little.

Thought the intro skit was a little weird, it's a direct lift of a story/skit from a Dead Prez album albeit with a different voice. Wonder what the thinking behind that was.

If you like Benny, you'll need to listen to all the Griselda stuff. So that's Benny, Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn.

Some excellent stuff from them. Hard as nails and will make you want to fight everybody.

Not sure if anyone is into the spoken word side of things, but Kate Tempest released a new album called The Book of Traps and Lessons and it's really good.

I'm not normally a fan of it, but the way that Kate drifts over tracks works for me.

I remember posting about Benny on here 2 years ago, glad he's starting to blow up

New Mach Hommy EP is dope as well, he's a long running feud with Griselda, drops a 7 track EP the same day as Benny, coincidence maybe

Bandana on Friday then Big KRIT 2 weeks after, happy days!

If you haven’t listened to “Dave - Pyscodrama” you should. Best UK artist at the moment for me.

    'Cataracts' on Bandana.

    Loving Bandana

Think im 1 of the few people that prefers Shadow of a Doubt and Fred's older stuff over Pinata, Freddie and Madlib knocked this out the park though, flows better beginning to end than any album I've heard in a long time!

Madlib is total funking genius lads. This is where the main sample for Cataracts hits, the 1 minute 38 mark.

Nas released a bit of one track that sounds very like the Life is Good album, think it's the Statik one.

    Very excited for this.

Madlib is just a beast, reminds me a little of RZA in his prime. The Wu should have one more go at an album and have Madlib produce the whole thing.
