Euonymus Japonicus hedge

    If growing a hedge which is at least 120cm in height from Euonymus Japonicus, would using options (a) or (b) below achieve this more quickly?

    (a) Bushy Euonymus Japonicus with 60cm-80cm height
    (b) Whip (leggy & thin) Euonymus Japonicus with 120cm-150cm height

    Planted, perhaps, 35cm apart (unless it's thought another separation distance is better).

    I'd say 35cm is a bit close if you want a tall hedge but 120cm is not tall.

    50cm is prob better.

    A. Is the better option. The recommended spacing is often as low as 3 to 5 per metre.

    Should be fine once you don't let frost get at exposed roots. Ground is still warm enough to allow root growth and we are getting plenty of rain to help the plants settle in. Sooner is better than later in my opinion.
