    2. Hours worked per week.
    3. Years in service.
    4. Take home pay per week or month which ever is your case.

And why take home pay and not gross?

2 people with the same gross could have different take home pay, but the job only pays gross.

Yes, there are all based on the average salary.
In employment people are shy about talking about their salary with other employees.
This is just to compare salaries in different sector's of employment.
From my experience those that consider themselves to be on a high wage are the ones that are least likely to talk about their salary with their peers.

    Great stuff.
Now other people in similar employment can compare their salary to yours and they can decide if their being underpaid or paid according.

Dont bother then, have a trawl through some other forums for something that points to your exercise. If you are not a willing participant then jog on.
