Limerick Vs Cork for accommodation - shared room, preferably apartment

Would either of these locations be considered more cost efficient.

I'm assuming either would be more cost efficient again that Dublin - but housing crises etc, I can only imagine that would be hell'ish to rent in.

But if it were between the former two, would either be considered a little friendlier to the renter?

Shared accommodation is more likely but, if I could land a reasonably priced apartment - that would be aces.

It's basically for two academic years started Sept, but want to get things sorted over the next few months.

    Insights?
