Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    my passport is due to expire soon and as it stands I wont be using it until god knows when, as I havent used it in over a year, will the situation regarding covid be taken into account when it expires or will I lose out

    I applied for a new passport 2 months ago it's still being processed and today I saw that the passport office has suspended operations while level 5 is in effect due to staff not having access to secure files while working from home.

    The said backlog should be cleared 6 to 8 weeks after level 5 finishes.

    How am I supposed to sneak off to Lanzarote for my urgent teeth clean without a passport?

    My passport expired May 2020.

    I applied for passport renewal online on 04/01/2021 and got it on 08/01/2021. Passport card was meant to follow but it's still showing as "printing."

    I ordered my passport on 3rd of march on line. Received it today. 70 euro.

    If you have all the details correct on first submission and it's the renewal of an already machine readable passport it should be less than 5 working days typically.
