Was that on RTE? I got into it through talk in an absinthe forum about the character Gotz who drank the stuff, love it, so different to Lost and others from around the same time 2004/2005. I also have the attraction to it from working festival events which always incorporate carnivals too, well the twister and big wheel anyway. Carnivale is like the original 'on the road' festival that gladdened the hearts of the Okies trying to survive the dustbowl depression years.

I'm not sure if it was shown on RTE but I think it's the same one you remember. I first watched it on DVD rented from Laser on Georges St. That was a great shop. The absinthe drinking character was called Lodz. A strange show but I loved it. I'm a fan of anything that explores odd goings on, particularly in small town America. American Gothic was another good one.

Love to see Due South return (with the original Ray).

Maybe Quantum Leap, even if it was a reboot, as long as Scott got to be in the first episode passing along the baton as it where, great show.

Due South: Wasn't I only checking IMDb yesterday to suss out if there was a musical episode or - entirely possible - I'm losing my mind? Either way, loved it. Also, Paul Gross has aged magnificently well.

Quantum Leap: splendid altogether. More recently, Scott played Jake's father (via phone) in "Source Code". Seamlessly, they managed to get an "Oh, boy," in there which only folks of your and my vintage will have gotten.

Back to thread: "Scrubs" with the original cast: tears and laughter in equal measure.

    Phenomenal show.

You could get all that craft stuff on YouTube. You don't need to wait for a TV show to be scheduled anymore. There will be endless YouTube videos on hand crafts.

Re reality TV. Love island starts again next week so buckle up for another 3 months of reality TV being in the front of people's minds.
Love Island is a load of teenybopper bollocks.

I think Carnivale was on TG4.

Oooh, The Critic! I'm suddenly remembering shows that used to be on The End.

    Another one, The End.

The end was mad stuff, how did rte ever allow it?

Spent many a night in my early teenage years laughing at that show. It was as if RTE deliberately made it as a gateway show to cannabis.

Moncrieff's next show is another that deserves a mention, Don't Feed The Gondolas. I'm sure its already been said on this thread.
