The Mathematics forum welcomes the discussion of Student Homework, Projects, Surveys & Course-Related Assignments

Homework, project and self-study questions are welcome in the Mathematics forum provided it forms the basis for discussion, and that you are happy to engage with other posters.

Engaging with other posters could mean discussing methodologies, e.g. measurements, data coding, analysis, results & conclusions, and/or discussing your reasoning.

This way the forum enjoys a lively discussion, and you get the help you need!

Please beaware of the following relevent point from the Mathematics Forum Charter:

This forum has a high number of users who are students, either at secondary or at third level. It is considered to be against the spirit of this forum to provide said users with full solutions to homework/exam type questions. The onus should be on posters to provide a hint or encouragement to the user so that they can attempt a solution on their own

i.e. Mathematics forum posters should not, and generally will not, do your homework or assignments for you. They can, however, and hopefully will, try to help and guide you where possible.

Also, please don't just ask for help in your original post, and leave to never return. If someone has taken the time to assit you, you should 1) consider posting back on whether/how it helped you, 2) maybe try and help someone else. Taking the time to explain a topic to someone else is one of the best ways to improve your own understanding and recall.

N.B. This is to facilitate student learning, not business or marketing purposes (anyone interested in the latter should contact hello@boards.ie).
