Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    People probably already know of this site, but for those who don't, www.mmaplayground.com is a website where you can make fantasy bets on upcoming UFC competitions (the UFC is the main league, Cage Rage,EliteXC, Dream etc appear in the secondary league). You can view the fighters for the next 4 or 5 upcominmg competitions, try to guess the winner, round and method for each fight, and place fantasy wagers on the outcomes too. You gain points for each fight you guess correctly, and there is a big scoreboard so you can see how good you are. You can also set up "Fight Camps", which is basically an easy way for groups of members who know each other to compair their scores and upcoming fight picks (so maybe a Boards.ie Fight Camp?).
    I thought this might be of interest to people here, its a great way to keep an eye on upcoming fights and its pretty fun too to keep a score on your choices in fights.

    MMA Playground is a great site, have been on there for a year or two and recently started a fight camp with a few online mates, its good fun.
