Just shopping in Lidl Blakestown store and picked up 2 packs of chicken. Was charged the full price of €4.69 each. Highlighted the pricing error and was given a refund of the difference after the manager checked it out. I gave customer service a call and logged the issue. Must say that they are usually ahead of the curve when it comes to pricing so was surprised with this error. Just to note that the price of these will be at €4 per pack from 17-23 Oct as per their new booklet, still a bargain

I messaged them on FB and they're sending me a voucher. Guessing they got their till update incorrect or something, was strange that the manager in grangegorman just said no though

Seems to be zero communication between store managers and head office, seems to be like they tap in the store orders on their machines and they arrive by truck, shelf them, sell them, rinse, repeat.

I shop between 4/5 Lidl's and notice different prices in stores.
New stores prices are slightly higher, 20c extra on net of oranges, jumbo sausages.

I don't generally rush in at opening time on Saturday for these offers. Usually miss them. Can anyone say roughly how long the sale stock lasts over the weekend?

As long as there is stock basically

Then this could be divided and put out each day or just put out in one go

Like the wings where gone in 2 of 3 shops by nine or so one time

Then you'll see stuff that cafe, bars, business in general will use, that general doesn't last long either

By far our favourite, we ran out last week and bought something in Supervalu (not sure of brand, but it was a brand, not a store own one) and its terrible in comparison. I started drinking this coffee in Poland years ago, really like and hate being without it. I'll buy it at full price but when the offer is one (which it hasn't been for quite a while now) I'll buy about 10-12 packets.

250g in a single clove of garlic

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,018 ✭✭✭123654789

Id say it's a bag of single cloves of garlic -- not one 250g one

Much as I'd love to see the state of a half pound clove of garlic:pac:

Lidl usually have cute little baskets of "single clove garlic" for sale, with multiple small bulbs that aren't separated into cloves like normal garlic. The garlic in the photo is explicitly NOT "single clove" though. I don't know if this is a reduction in the price of the normal single clove garlic offered, or if they are selling something different, but the photo definitely does not match the description this time.
