Hi guys, just finished restoring the underneath of my 94 corolla which I baught 2 years ago, still in previous owners name and it’s the old book,I’d like to keep that so I’m wondering does anyone know of a way to transfer my name onto it and tax it but keep the original book? Cheers!

You'll get the old book in your name no problem. If you want to be really sure, so to the tax office yourself and they'll do it on the spot(assuming they are open in view of COVID

I did this with a Cortina only on Friday, no issue. Just make sure you have the change of ownership form filled out beforehand to speed things up.
