Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Today I saw an abandoned classic and took a pic thread!

Yeah 2.8's were injected - e.g. in the Capri 2.8 injection
I don't know much about Ford V6's either (excpet that I think they are just boat anchors :D) but I think the 2.8 has siamesed exhaust ports for 2 cylinders each side and the 2.9 doesn't - or maybe that's the other way around..

......yep its the other way around ! The 2.9 has siamesed ports. AFAIK the Mk 3 Ghia "X" model was never sold here. The hatchback Mk4 were really only sold here as 2.0GL, 2.0i Ghia, 2.8i Ghia and then 2.9i Ghia. The 2.9i was MY87

you're forgetting the 2.4i v6 and there's no mk4 granada i'm afraid, only mk3, mk3 facelift model then the scorpio (as in frog eyes scorpio no the granadas badged as "granada scorpio" and sometimes just scorpio, like one that
    i have here).

Anyway aside from that, zender bumper extension on the french golf?

As far I know its a polish built car called an FSO 125p.Its based on the old fiat 125 I believe under licence made between 67 and 91.

Also known as Polski Fiat 125. Late 1970's maybe? This is what it should look like.

They probably were not much in any better condition when they were on the road:P:).I dont know there is a good indicator/side light cover on her, and a bit of elbow grease and t-cut would bring the colour up a treat:cool:;)

Polish FSO for sure ... 125p or something ... most of them seemed to appear here in the mid to late 1980's. A Fiat with any potentially interesting design cues disgarded :D
