The Indemnity fee is done on a sliding scale, not all cars are €200

The indemnity fee is €50 for auction prices between €0 - €499, €75 between €500 - €999 & €100 between €1000 - €1499. All vehicles which sell for €1500 or over will carry a flat indemnity fee of €200.

Thanks
Patrick

Hi gk5000

Every month we publish "Snapshot" which lists all the cars we've sold here at Merlin over the previous 4 months. It can be purchased from our website at www.merlin.ie/snapshot for €5

Thanks

Did all the cars sell this morning?

What happens to cars which don't sell?

Hi Mellie Man on the Telly!

(I'm enjoying all the different username's! )

No, not all the cars were sold this morning.

If a car doesn't sell, it may be put into the next auction, or the seller may want to take it back.

For your information, if a car doesn't sell, you can come in after the auction and make an offer on the car and we will contact the seller for you.without waiting for the car to go into the next auction. But the rule is, the car must go into at least one auction first before this happens.

I hope I'm making sense here for you!

Thanks
Patrick

I'd suspect there are a few sheds amongst that lot...might pop along tomorrow to see if I can spot the wheat from the chaff.

Maybe it this one or one next week but there's a 2003 ST170 up for auction, looks rough as hell but if the engine (150k) and box are sound then it looks to be a good buy, assuming it goes for buttons.

I'd love to head out one of the days with about 400 quid to see if anything worth while can be sought.

Next auctions news / highlights

Hi all

Rather than creating a new thread for each auction, I thought it would be better just to keep adding to the same thread any news, hightlights of the next auction (we have 4 auctions a week, so that would add up to a lot of threads over time!)

Hope this is ok with you, as I am new to boards.ie if there is an easier way to do this, please let me know!

Thanks
Patrick

TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER AT 10.30AM - JOE DUFFY MOTOR GROUP AUCTION

Tuesday morning's auction is on behalf of the Joe Duffy Motor Group. What this means is that all the trade ins that the Group take in, if they are not going to retail the car themselves, they send the cars to us to auction on their behalf.

Here's a taste of a couple of cars in for this Tuesday's auction, you can see the preliminary catalogue HERE, final catalogue will be available at approximately 3pm on Monday

Thanks
Patrick
