Hi people, first time user here. No coffee is coming out just a lot of noise. Arrived yesterday from Amazon warehouse. Any ideas on what to do if nothing comes out?

You may need to prime it before first use:

I remember my first few cups were very burnt and bitter too so don't be too disappointed if you need to work the settings and put the first few down the sink....

What kind of settings you looking at mate?

All of a sudden coffee from my ECAM 2800 has started to taste weak or like stale coffee water. I can't figure it out changed the grind, new diffuser, cleaned out the machine and started using bottled water but no joy. Any ideas?

Only the one i can think of- one I've suggested before to ppl based on experience myself, and there may be better ppl to advise in the thread

Take out the brew unit and see how freely it moves up and down within itself- should travel fairly smoothly several inches

If not, check out a YouTube guide on giving it a good clean (and consider getting food grade lube)

Otherwise, maybe someone else can suggest something

What are the pucks like out of it

I saw this machine in Lidl last week.
    Model # is ecam13.123.b

It does look like the ECAM 13.123.B is discontinued ( hardly inspires confidence )

It would be interesting to hear back if someone did take the plunge and buy one.

Quick question about the grinder on the Ecam22.110.B

It looks totally different from the old machine .

Just want to check its not missing a cap or something?

I've attach a pic of what it looks like

That's what I was thinking , my old one had the cap .

I thought maybe the newer ones are a bit different .

Interesting the Ecam22.110.B is not listed there .

I have been using it away and it seems fine . Its seems just to be a different type grinder for this machine.

Delonghi UK have one its around £7 delivery to Ireland

Very strange it came without one but don't imagine it will cause any issues not having it

    I have the same machine.
It's a rectangular shape plastic grill that stops anything larger then a coffee bean size to reach the grinder.
It's been hold in place by 2 screws on 2 corners.
I see the plastic that holds the screws are still there.
Just the plastic grill is missing.

The parts mentioned earlier in the post won't fit your machine.

AHH ok , that expains it so .

Your grinder is the same as mine but you have a plastic grill over this if I am understanding correctly .

Are those plastic grills strictly needed ? I assume it makes filling the beans more slower/combersome.

Maybe in the long run, try to replace it.
Might help not damaging the grinder.
Will look up for the part and post the link, if found.

New user here, the descale light came on. I have some oust descaler sachet tabs. Is it ok to use these or must I get the delonghi stuff? Cheers

I bought one of these Christmas 2017 on offer. It has stopped working. I didn't have any problems with it until it just stopped working last week. Is that it ready for the bin now or is there any point in contacting Argos?
