Good Places for first time snowboarders

Myself and a few of my mates are planing on going snowboarding in February. I have been skiing before but never boarding, and the lads are in the same boat. Was wondering can anyone recomend some good places to go for beginners which isnt to easy but not all black slopes as well!

Most of the guys on the faceplant trip (myself included) learned how to board in Livigno in Italy.

Good mix of slopes for beginner/intermediate. Not a huge amount for advanced riders.
