    Boards Spurs Supporters Club - updated 7 October 2008

    Hello and welcome to the boards.ie Spurs Supporters Club forum!

    This forum is for the discussion of supporters club activities and Spurs-related information. Access is open to all registered members of this site for the moment, but may become restricted in the not too distant future.

    I'm hoping we can keep things trouble-free, but like all forums on boards there needs to be a charter. Here's a start:

    1. Standard boards rules apply. That means no commercial advertising, personal abuse, spamming, racism, porn etc. Please do not post anything that can get the owners of boards.ie in legal trouble, that means nothing libelous please. Posts may be edited/deleted as necessary. This also includes posts which are homophobic in nature, or which mock the sexual orientation (alleged or otherwise) of an individual, whether a poster or a public personality

    2. Please keep posts on-topic. Posts on arranging trips to games, a few beers over a televised match, ticket swaps etc are fine, as are posts on team affairs. Discussion on other football matters is not permitted., and will be edited/deleted as necessary. Do bear in mind that there is a wider football community on boards here with restricted access which can be requested here. Discussion of general football matters should take place there.

    3. This forum is not an alternative to the Soccer Forum, and members should not use it to subvert the rules of the general football forum. Abuse of other boards members is strictly prohibited, please do not use this forum to continue arguments from the Soccer Forum.

    4. There is to be NO discussion of the moderators of the Soccer Forum. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

    5. Moderators decisions are final.

    Ticket touting

    Ticket touting is frowned upon throughout boards, and is not conducive to the sense of community a supporters club requires. For those reasons, the sale of match tickets for profit is strictly prohibited on this forum. The following guidlines apply:
    1. Match tickets should be sold for no more than face value + any applicable booking fees.
    2. Season ticket holders are entitled to a fair price for use of their tickets, i.e. the price charged by the club for a seat in their part of the ground for the match in question.
    3. Under no circumstances are members to charge for use of their club membership to buy tickets.
    4. Under no circumstances are season ticket away vouchers to be sold.
    5. The sale or transfer of tickets for matches involving other clubs/international sides is prohibited

    Contributions from non-Spurs fans are welcome

    Subject to the posts on the charter above, contributions from fans of other clubs are welcome. Do remain civil at all times, and remember that this forum is primarily for Spurs fans.

    Disruptive posters will get one, and only one, warning, failure to heed that warning will result in a permanent ban. Please do not force us to make this forum private.

    Arsenal fans are not welcome on this forum. Do not post here, you will be banned without warning.
