Hey. I have a small music YouTube channel where I post acoustic live cover videos. I've been wondering how to get a better average view duration because videos with a better view duration are more likely to get recommended by YouTube. So would turning my 4 minute cover videos into shorter 2 or 3 minute videos help get better view durations?
I've seen Davina Michelle make shorter videos (pop songs), but not many people with acoustic music from the 1970s have shorter videos. So I'm curious what people know about this.
