Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Yeah you are correct, RTE showed the escorted prison van drive in the gate, then cut to a scene of him being led into court (TheBridewell), i assume that was after he was arrested when he returned from England.

    Looks singular to me, but a while back there were no tweets for a couple of weeks, then they returned and tweeted that someone took a pop at them but missed - nothing reported in news

    I read today he was sent to portlaoise. Isn't Barry Doyle down there too? I'd say he is rattling if he's there tbh.

    He wasn't careless. He was arrogant and believed he was untouchable. He didn't realise the amount of C.C.T.V. that there is in the city and the fact that the Judges in the Special Criminal Court wont believe the ****e that defence solicitors and barristers come out with

    Definitely political, if any Minister for Justice was to even contemplate releasing Brian Meehan then the media would scream out loud about Veronica Guerin. Because of this Meehan is never getting out.

    Yeah Doyle was moved down there a year or two ago, you'd imagine Freddie and Brian Rattigan would have to be kept apart.

    This is unlikely. They said the same about Mc Arthur whose crimes were equally heinous. He'll be released when he has served his time.

    Anyone that takes that money would immediately have a contract put on them by the Byrnes. It's only pocket change to them. Maybe someone that was desperate or had some leverage on them would try it on. Not easy to do it and get away clean either.
    No question Baker would make the money available for though.

    FF has being in Portlaoise months before his trial as he was moved as they heard they were planning an escape bid in Mountjoy and I read somewhere is still mates with Doyler really is beggers believe how all these operate.. Hes surrounded by Provos according to your man John on twitter but I doubt anything will happen him. unless he goes state witness be like goodfellas...
