We brought it back last week into our scouts,

    they looked very bemused..

    Hick-a-maliah Hee!
    I-R-E-L-A-N-D
    A-Boomalaka, Boomalaka,
    Have you any doubts?
We are, we are Irish Scouts!
    Céad Míle Fáilte, (100,000 welcomes)

And if so, did you have any variations to it.

    I remember we had a "47th version"

This song is still sung almost all the time at national events such as the Phoenix. I remember this year we had all the ventures who'd come back from the Explorer Belt to lead the entire campfire in a rendition of it, which really went well.
The younger scouts who hadn't heard it before were amazed.

First I heard of it was at Patrol Leadership Training. And then the Phoenix, and an MPC. Some of our Scouts thought it was hilarious though...

Yep, its still in use. We used it at the world jamboree in 2003, no doubt it will be deployed in 2007
