Mixing styles

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on mixing styles? I've an old school nautical style sleeve on one arm in full colour and was planning on getting another colour sleeve done but lately I've grown quite fond of black and white pieces combined to make a sleeve rather than a fully designed sleeve from the outset. Would mainly be thinking of something like this with red mixed in on my other arm and was wondering has anyone ever seen this or think it could work?

Why wouldn't it? Your body, your rules.

yeah i get what you're saying and it makes sense. Just a few people said they didn't think it would look good but it's not going on them I suppose.

"it's not going on them I suppose."......thats the thing. Its personal taste.

I have a japanese sleeve, polynesian sleeve, traditional on my stomach chest and ribs, and some geometric on my leg. Personally I prefer a mix of styles to all one style unless it's done really really well. Variety is good!
