    Just to get the ball rolling, I'm better known to the guys on the UCD forum. Doing PhD in the biomedical area in UCD.

    Graduated from NUIM with PhD in 2001, moelcular medical biology :) Happy to provide help or information to people completing Biomedical type programmes and wondering what to do next :)

    I'm technically not a postgrad at the moment, but I have an MA in Modern English from UCD (me and scop were in the same class), I'm applying for the H.Dip in BFIS in UCC and I'd eventually like to do a PhD in English or Linguistics.

    Just graduated with a MEngSc (Eletronic Engineering) from NUIM in 2006. Now I'm working as a Manufacturing Engineer! :eek:
    Hopefully a job I'd like will pop up in the coming months.

    One of my modules is EE, seems nice enough

    I'm doing MSc in maths&mathsphys in my beloved NUIM (and trinity >.< )

    Have an MSc in computing and toying with the idea of a PhD.

    Yup, should be :) I don't have a PhD in computing (I'm a Biologist) but there are many elements of interest across the board shared by PhD students regardless of subject.

    EDIT, great to see so many NUIM people here :)

    That's what I am thinking, not so much the subject of the PhD, more the approach, impact to family life, job prospects, etc.
