My skin easily gets dry and while I've noticed a decent improvement from using Mitchell's Wool Fat over the canned stuff I want to try as natural soaps or creams as possible.

I've seen 2 on shaving.ie from Taylor OBS and DR Harris

I have seen them on Amazon too but are there any good sites out there that I'm unaware of?

Martin de Candre may fit what you're after. It's pricey though but the small sample I tried was great

My skin also gets dry especially in winter as I exercise outdoors. What you're want is a list of soaps with a great "post-shave feel". There's plenty of soaps out there that contains loads of skin friendly ingredients. Others will tell you soap will always dry you out and it's really the aftershave splash or, more likely for dry skin, balm that matters.

Check out this page on Mike's soap that details the properties of the ingredients in his soaps: http://www.mikesnaturalsoaps.com/Properties%20and%20Benefits.html

There are loads and loads of soaps to choose from, especially once you discover artisan offerings. And while there are an equal number of great aftershave offerings out there luckily most supermarket offerings due a good job with aftershave products (because the shaving products are so poor).

Fair play beardy looking at them now

For anyone else in my position, from research the best mainstream ones for sensitive/dry skin seem to be

Taylor of Old Bond St Organic Shaving Cream

    DR Harris Naturals Shaving Soap

Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera 99.9% Natural Traditional Shaving Soap (also comes in Sandalwood)

I also found one other interesting place in the UK, from Friendly Soap UK, seems all hand made all natural. They only do one shaving soap, I have seen it on Amazon and other shops but it seems cheapest straight form themselves.

Some others I found of interest so far:

    https://allnaturalsoap.co.uk/shop/men/all-natural-traditional-shaving-soap/

    https://www.ecco-verde.co.uk/biolu/olive-oil-soup

    https://www.wild-sage.co.uk/product/handmade-natural-vegan-soap/lavender-cedarwood-shaving-soap

    https://www.simplysoaps.com/shaving-soap.html

I'm not sure about this last one, as it states it's not designed for use with a cutthroat razor, I assume maybe it's a weak lather

Samples are always a good way to check out the huge range of offerings out there.

The best places I know for samples are:

Ok so I got 2 bars of it seeing as it was so cheap.

Used it tonight on the beard and head.

The lather whips up very fast I must say far quicker than the Mitchell's Wool Fat.

The only drawback is once it on your face within a minute it turns to suds, like if you whipped up a bar of normal soap.

However I was blown away once I started shaving, the slickness is unreal, it was so quick and smooth to glide the razor, imagine you had a BBS shave and put on more lather and just ran the razor across whisker less skin and it just glides along gathering the suds.

So, while I was fairly disappointed when i saw my lather disappearing quickly it was massively saved by the slickness.

Given the slickness and the fact it's all natural I'll be happy stick with this for now and see how my skin takes to it.

I'll update if any improvement to dryness.
