Julia Roberts. The woman has enough teeth for a second row.

Me too. Old weird cartoon head herself.

Will also say Cheryl Cole, Caroline Flack, Kim Kardashian and many like them.

Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez, as already mentioned. Never got the attraction myself. Kate Moss as well, always looked like she was in severe need of a few ham sandwiches

Why are people saying folks whom plenty of us know are unattractive (Kim K, that Maura one) and people nobody said are extremely attractive (Helena Bonham Carter... Bibi Baskin?)

Anyway, yeah the excitement over Julia Roberts always baffled me. I suppose she's so leggy with amazing hair - she's not ugly - but her face is just so not pretty.

Very same for Scarlett Johansson back when she was first hyped up. What a bandwagon. But she has become stunning since then, to be fair.

Loads of women lose their minds over Benedict Cumberbatch... beyond me. And yeah Jason Momoa - just don't get how that look is attractive.

Back in the early 2010's Georgia Salpa was regarded as the hottest thing to come out of Ireland. Never understood it myself.

Gail Platt, never really got the type about her.

I agree with most of what you say apart from the bit about Jason Momoa.
In the Hollywood world of cleanshaven samey-looking men, Momoa stands out with his hairy rugged good looks ;)

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder because Jason Momoa is to me the hottest guy who ever graced the earth! Him and Russel Brand... drrooollll

David Beckham I've never found attractive, so feminine even with all of his tattoos and football, he's just really girly.
I can see that George Clooney is an attractive man but he does nothing for me. Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling look the same to me. Their eyes are way too close together and their heads are too small. I mean, I still would in a heartbeat but they wouldn't be my first choices.

Half of these people are trannies (which is fine). Lots of secret MTF and FTMs in hollywood.

No, sorry Momoa fans - way too much beef on Jason. I picture him in a cave wearing animal skins and brandishing a club (cue Momoa fans slide off their chairs :D).

How on earth would someone notice a person's hands and consider these attractiveness determining.

Same here - could never see why people were raving about her. Same goes for Julia Roberts.

God yes. I think a lot of that though was "She's just past jailbait - wahey!!!"

Oh and to add Tom Cruise - once you realise his front tooth is directly in the centre of his face (google it) you will be weirdly squeamish about him forever more...

    Ha.
I'll never be able to watch Mission Impossible the same way again.

I like Ryan Reynolds's sense of humour. Someone asked on Twitter what was the difference between Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling, Reynolds replied,
"Ryan Gosling has light blond hair and Ryan Reynolds is a cúnt".

Julia Roberts is definitely getting the most mentions, alongside Jolie.

I'll pass this on to my wife who refuses to concede that Roberts is a wide mouthed, long faced horse who could chew a turnip through a tennis racket.

PS I disagree on Jolie, at least in her prime. Around her Lara Croft days she was legendary. Then she became a stick insect and I lost all hope.

PPS whoever mentioned Salma Hayek in this thread, hang your head.

Most of the ones listed are women that other women think are good looking.

Most men are into the "pornstar" look but will deny it to seem sophisticated.

Assuming you mean huge boobs, plastic lips and trashy, then no - I don't deny it to look sophisticated.

Fake is horrible. Be it boobs, lips, arse or anything else. I'd rather too small but real, than huge and fake.

Adam Levine is indeed a mystery. He is so nondescript. He is the arch example of fame making a guy better-looking, in my opinion. There was a couple of lads in my year in school who looked just like him and they weren’t babe magnets.

Do you ever play The Sims? He really looks like a sim come to life. Definite touch of the uncanny valley about him.

And by god his music is awful.

Sometimes I'll see pictures in a paper of some catwalk shot from a fashion show and I'll think 'really? Is that attractive.'

The utterly bored, borderline malnourished appearance makes me feel very uneasy about the whole projection of what's appealing today.

It's obviously a phase but I'm looking forward to moving on to projecting people as content as opposed to either euphoric or apathetic.

disagree, the "p0rnstar" stereotype is very fake looking, men would tend to dislike the catwalk model look at one extreme and prefer the look of a typical Sports Illustrated model
