Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Acoustic blues - Dublin

    Hello

    I'm an experienced blues harmonica player and singer looking to jam with an acoustic blues guitarist with the aim of forming a duo and playing gigs. I'm thinking something along the lines of Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Cephas & Wiggins, Robert Johnson, Blind Wille McTell. If you sing as well, that's a huge plus.

    I'm based in Dublin city centre. I have a few videos or myself singing and playing, I can share them with you.

    Obviously we won't be able to actually meet for a month probably, but if you're interested please drop me a line.

    Hi SP,

    I play guitar and sing blues....I run the Acoustic Blues Meetup in the Bohemian Bar from time to time. I have played at the Soley Blues Club with a few other lads, and also have a blues outfit that plays open mics and the occasional gig. We play in different configurations, sometimes two of us other times as many as six..I'd be happy to meet up after the lockdown to jam and see how we get on from there.

    Didn't hear back from you about this...The blues group I mentioned seems to have fallen apart, so I'm solo now..am on the lookout for a harmonica player. You interested in meeting up to to play a few tunes?
