Help me find heating system in house - I'm f**king boiling.

I live in digs at the moment and the owner of the property is away for the night and has left the heating. I'm parched. Woke me up from my deep sleep. I've searched high and low for the controls to turn it off but to no avail? Some kind of hidden system!

It's a 1980s two story build in an estate. Anywhere unusual the switch might be?

The owner might have secret cameras set and want to video you nude. Bitches be crazy op.

Indeed. Another incentive for me to turn off the heating. Only place I haven't checked is the owner's bedroom and the garage as it's locked?

Have you checked the owners bedroom? The heating system for my house is in my room.

Yeah, it has helped. But I'd still like to have the heat off.

Locked. Think it may well be in there.

    3 options:
    -Pick the lock
    -Kick the door open
-Wait it out till the morning

    That'll be the global warming.

Have you tried inhaling a few million tonnes of CO2?

What sort of heating system is it?

Any temperature control switches in the corridor or near the front door?

Start taking fuses out of the fusebox until it shuts off.

Can't you just turn the valves on the radiator off?

    It may be underfloor heating.

Dig the floor up. They'll be there somewhere.

Burn the house down, ask questions later.

Are you mad? That would make it even hotter. Turn all the taps on, flood the place.

Not entirely sure? I don't see an oil tank so presuming gas or electric?

I wouldn't mind, but I was already suffering from heat stroke before the heat came on in the evening due to being out in the sun all day yesterday and today!

Don't think so. Old style radiator; would I need a wrench?

Find the attic hatch and sleep up there. Always nice and cool on the attic.

HEAT STROKE? In March? In Ireland?

My first thought was.. who is paying for the heating! As long as not you that is fine.

Take a sledge hammer to the boiler. That'll teach the fcuker to try and sweat you out of it!

    Open all the windows

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
