Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Im on my holidays and today ive realised something.. i now no longer have any friends i can just callup impromptu and go for a few drinks - all my friends are in relationships etc..

    need to try expand my social circle!... im 32 from cork.

    feck it, lifes for living and thought id put it out there !

    i play team sports but teammates they either too old or too young to hang out with !

    Why would being in a relationship stop your friends having impromptu pints? Myself and most of my friends are and we are always out for pints, plenty of them impromptu.

    I saw a guy kicked out for going to the toilet too often one night in the Hi- B... that was in 1995.
    The owner's reasons for throwing people out/"barring" them (they don't really get barred :)) could be absolutely anything indeed (mainly making your phone seen, though) - I heard of him "barring" a guy once for putting a bit of coal on the fire. Apparently the owner downed the guy's pint first (to compensate for the stolen coal I guess?) and then advised him he was barred. :)

    The place still looks like your nana's front room in the 70s.

    Supposed to have been junkie's paradise with tales of its glory lasting many the year as far as I remember.
