Im looking to do Occupational First Aid Fetac Level 5 and was wondering is there a company who so these courses over a period of a few weekends, maybe a full or half day over a few Saturdays or Sundays? I know the likes of SOLAS and WCFE etc do this course during the week but with my working hours changing over the next few hours, I wouldnt be able to commit to a weekday course. Does anyone know if a weekend course is available in and around the Waterford area?

I do mine with First Aid and Medical Training Services. I did it over 3 Saturdays then the refresher course on one Saturday every 2 years. They're very good.

^ Thanks, Deisemum. Did you get your official certificate at the end of the course, I presume you still had to do an exam at the end of it?

Yeah you get a certificate. I've been doing occupational first aid for the last 30 years and there's always something that's changed since the last course.

I'd be interested in this myself. Will be finished college soon and I'm looking for as much stuff to put on the CV as possible. Have you any idea of a price estimate?

I don't know how much it costs because my courses were subsidised.
