Time for FF to.replace Oap Micheal Martin ?

I think FF badly need to replace Micheal Martin with a young fresh leader, Someone like Stephen Donnelly or Lisa Chambers.

He has the highest approval rating to be leader of the country in the most recent poll, so I wouldn't say he'll be going anytime soon

Eamonn O'Cuiv should be the next leader of Fianna Fail.

That would bookend things nicely.

Sure I know. I'm only posting in the spirit of the OP.

Gotta disagree on those two.

Stephen Donnelly has been blasting FF for years, I think he's lost a fair bit of credibility joining them. And he'll never be an insider.

And when Lisa Chambers does something I'll form an opinion about her.

There is 2 sides to it.

If he was in opposition his entire career people would claim all he does is complain and fix pot holes.

And TBF to Donnelly he usually attacked policy and not the party or individual.

I'm sure FF will teach him how to do that correctly though.

From his wikipedia page.

In 2014 Donnelly described Fianna Fáil as being part of a culture of "jobs for the boys, bonuses for the boys, lack of accountability and two fingers to the Dáil".[9] In February 2017, Donnelly announced that he was joining Fianna Fáil.[10] Upon joining, Donnelly said that he believed Fianna Fáil to be "the best team that most closely align with my politics who I believe are taking these challenges very seriously".

It's pretty difficult to justify doing something like that.

He'd be the worst leader since his namesake.
