    tbh, Roundy Mooney

Nowhere in the 300 pararaphs of "ze rulez and regulationz" does it explicitly say NOT to post contact details.

    It actually says:
Don't ever post your personal details in the public advert unless you like to be contacted by weirdos!
very near the bottom of the loooooong list

People just take posting contact details as a given from posting ads elsewhere ...you might want to be a bit more explicit about the basic rules and not hide them beneath a massive yawn inducing disclaimer ,definition, etc, etc, pp

    ...just a thought :D

Well, seeing as this was raised here (probably a discussion better served on Adverts Support-we can continue it there if you like), the contact info rule is primarily to prevent off thread dealing, which *is* an emphasised ad rule.

It's also highlighted in stuck topics at the top of the more problematic categories, so, while it's quite true to say that the norm elsewhere is to stick a number on the end of your ad, there are I feel ample warnings in place so that users don't come up against the rules, and suffer negative interactions on adverts, which none of us want:)

This is my 1986 Talbot Express Autosleeper, i offer her for spares or repair, i have spent a lump of money trying to get her through the DOE (Ireland), unfortunately the body just will not make it, (much tougher than MOT) engine and gearbox are real gems, gearbox was completely overhauled 2 years ago, engine is the petrol 1971cc, runs like a dream, all in situ and can be seem running, additionally brakes, cables and so much more, all new.
Most of the interior has gone into my new project and re-used, so any of the interior bits you will need to ask.

Just to say that her days are numbered, it will be a shame to be scrapping a camper van, but her who must be obeyed, must be.

This thread was created to have one focal point for motorhome / campervan related gear either for sale or wanted.

There will be NO DIRECT ADVERTISING in this thread, the idea is that you place your for sale/wanted item on adverts.ie (boards' own small ads ..they're FREE !) and then create a link to your ad from this thread.

The idea behind it is to
    a) make it easier to find camping related ads on adverts.ie
    b) keep this forum free of ads and sales banter

    The rules are as follows:
    - in your post only give a brief description of the item for sale/wanted and the link to the ad
    - save the big description and any pictures / further details for the ad itself
    - do not mention price, phone numbers, addresses in your post.
    - no posts from commercial companies (boards rules)
    - adverts.ie rules apply (please make sure to read those before posting your ad)

Any posts outside the rules will be either edited or deleted without further discussion
