Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyone watching? Absolute cringeworthy stuff, basically making a mockery of the whole homecoming. Surely RTE could have come up with something better than this?!

    What a shambles.....called his father a racist as well!
    They should have consulted with the lads in Skibbereen who had a super homecoming for Gary and Paul

    He was on the radio earlier hinting that it was too big an event, you get the feeling he just wants to celebrate with the actual local community, not every bandwagon-jumper from Birr to Athlone with only a passing interest in golf.

    This is why I never understood this "nation of begrudgers" thing people say about Ireland. Any success, including bronze medals etc, is celebrated to the hilt.
