Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    For sure I would. I hate mankyness like that. It's pure lazy.

    Nope, but actually you've just reminded me that someone once advised me that I should (well, the extension lead where the TV and Sky box are plugged in) 'cos apparently it can do damage to them if there's a sudden loss of power. I didn't know whether to believe him or not.

    Is there any sense in that?

    I knew someone who had lightning come through the window and destroy her TV. This would have been years ago so I'll say yes.
