|Blizzard conditions with gusty winds and visibility frequently near zero in snow and blowing snow are expected or occurring. Snowfall between 40 and 60 cm expected by Wednesday afternoon. Fresh snow combined with strong northeasterly winds gusting up to 90 km/h will cause blizzard conditions, with near zero visibility in blowing snow, today and tonight. The heaviest snowfall rates are expected to occur through mid-afternoon, before easing somewhat. Snow will likely become heavy at times again this evening before finally tapering off during the day on Wednesday. The public is also advised that higher than normal water levels and pounding surf can be expected during high tide this morning and again this evening, along the southern shore. ### Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility. Blizzard warnings are issued when widespread reduced visibilities of 400 metres or less are expected for at least 4 hours|
