    This thread was shut down and OP banned.

    While I disagree wholeheartedly with the sentiment in the thread (and expressed this during the thread) the reality is that there are people who share these types of views.

    They should be allowed to express and people should argue / debate and expose the problems with the viewpoint expressed.

    Alternatively, they can be ignored.

    Closing the thread just serves to strengthen their view that they are "silent majority" who are being prevented from expressing their opinion.

    I found that one very strange too. It’s only got worse since they got taken over too.

    The sole purpose of the thread is conflict. That's why it got closed out. The OP has done the exact same thing here. The topic they present is just a distraction that people can latch onto. The same tone of conflict exists between both.

    There's no real basis for discussion there, regardless of how others feel about engaging in the "topic".
