Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Why do so many of these MAME machines have a 'Jedward haircut' bezel/marquee height requirement?

    It's almost like the people building them have no concept as to what anything on the plans actually are until all the cut pieces are put together.

    It's the winner for me anyway,I had tears of laughter in my eyes for a good 20 minutes after seeing it.The thoughts that someone spent hours on this then stood back,looked at it,and said to themselves "thats a great job".

    Perhaps the only plans they had to work from was a description of an arcade machine by some sort of pre-contact indigenous hunter gatherer tribe in Sth America.

    I reckon the top is a feature of the cab,the fear of it falling on you and killing you makes ya play better.

    its a decased 13" tv with a plug and play "arcade" game hacked into it.
