Apologies to any planks of wood out there

Christ no... I didn't think Koepka would contend this week. Just my personal preference but I really hope he is not at the top of the leaderboard come Sunday.

More charisma than DJ, Rose or Molinari. In fact most golfers lack a bit of charisma.

That was two great breaks on 5. Every other ball up that side has been buried and his was sitting up, then hitting the flag at a fair rate of knots.

Jesus the hype train. Without those massive breaks at 5 and the flag hes probably no where near the -4 under hes posting.

Class player but the hype is just bananas. Its 6 holes in.

Did you feel that way about Tiger Woods back when he was dominating?

It's something that we only notice when it happens to great players.

Is koepka the most unlikable player since Garcia.

    He has a horrible arrogance.

I'm hoping his wild accurate power catches up with him.

By the way Tiger has no chance here.
The media attention is off the mark.

Uh he's only 4 shots off the lead?

I don't think he is, in fact he seems to be getting more popular the last while in America.

Most top level sports people are arrogant although overall Koepka seems fairly normal in real life.

Great for Justin Rose. His career justifies a second major. Hope he's in the mix on the final day.

How is he arrogant?? A lot of what he says is bang on the money and Harrington agreed with him about the comments on there are only a handful of players who can beat him in a major if he plays to his ability.

He came through the European challenge tour to now winning multiple majors. He is a brilliant example to upcoming pro golfers.

And if anyone is bored with him, just look at his girlfriends Instagram!!!! :)

Rose going out early so if conditions good he could stretch his lead

I suspect Oosthuizen and Molinari fancy themselves especially if the weather shows the potential to play some havoc on the bigger hitters.

Oosthuizen has a 2nd place in the US open and has finished in & around Top 20 the past 4 years.

Given the weather looks to be staying quite calm, will they look to firm & speed up the greens & throw out some horrible tucked pin positions to try control the scoring?

  • Registered Users Posts: 394 ✭✭liamoreilly

...Jordan Speith wasn't overly happy with his caddy yesterday...

Think they will slightly but I don't think they will change much given what's happened in previous events. If the USGA mess this tournament up we could be seeing a boycott next year.

The fault is with Speith not his caddy, while he’s coming back into a bit of form he is still hitting it sideways so if he’s over/under hitting it he has no one to blame bar himself. If he was in control of his swing he wouldn’t make those mistakes.

1 of the conversations they had they agreed the club and the distance and he was 10 yards over the back of the green. That’s not Grellers fault.

haha what a bitch of a guy. He has always been like this in fairness... When things are going good, he's all smiles.. If not; he blames the crowd etc

Is it legal to shoot off the pavement the way kopecka did with his second shot from the 18th hole?

Play as it lies unless there’s a local rule.
