Think they may even have two. Google isn't finding much though
They have one that they primarily use (N272NR Embraer Phenom 300) and one that seems to be used whenever the primary one isn't available (2-CLEV ex. N525DT Cessna 525A).

Nothing new really, no new seats being added, just will be a growth on what was there last winter.

The Dublin route isn't news but more of a press release for the sake of free publicity - afaik Stobart stated they would use an AT76 year round on the route - they've certainly been using it since the contract came into effect last Winter anyway.

A route like Manchester on Flybe would be fantastic. Places like Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham aren't far away by train which is handy given the convenience of Kerry. Of course would be handy for inbound traffic also

No airline willing to commit on new startups from UK to regionals with Brexit looming. And kerry has to compete with SNN and ORK on MAN and BHX and EDI. Can't see room for Kerry getting any of these where there is plenty availability left and right!!

Good to see Kerry handle the Charles and Camilla departure today!!! Good publicity for them.

FR just started LPL-SNN and BRS-SNN, and FR are the most vocal about not expanding due to Brexit (they also opened a base in SEN with 13 routes, 3 of which are to destinations not served by any FR route at present).

Was expecting them to be heli'd back to Cork and fly from there until I saw "Sparrowhawk 28 Romeo" lifting off runway 26.

2 private jets parked up beside the hangar this evening, really good figures this summer. A Challenger 300 also took off around the same time as the Royal flight heading west.

I never said otherwise, my point was that it's not really a news story, it was announced several months ago that the aircraft was upgraded to an ATR72-600 and these magical new seats were entirely expected.

Now, it's not a bad thing for any business to get some PR, but said article means nothing in reality.

Can't see kerry getting a Ryanair to mid-uk. If it gonna happen.. it gonna be a Stobart or a Flybe type operation of 50-80 seats a couple of times a week. Any expansion from Stobart from UK recently??

It's free publicity that's all. Nothing the aviation interested people didn't know, and maybe they may get a few extra customers for those half interested by confirming to people that the days of flying to Dublin on clapped out ATR 42s are over.

Oh I know, but the "we're not expanding due to Brexit" talk is just that, talk. If a route is seen as viable they will launch it Brexit or no Brexit.

Stobart are reportedly cutting Cork-Newcastle and cutting back on Shannon-Edinburgh. If anyone was going to do these routes I would expect Flybe, in the same way they are operating to EDI/MAN/BHX from Knock.

Flybe are quite an unusual airline, they seem to be quite erratic in their route selection, so never say never.

They got rid of 2 atrs and only got 1 replacement. It made more sense to put the new ATR42 on Donegal rather than Kerry, Wasnt upgraded to a 72 due to demand.

About time, the tiny place is really showing its age but I don't think they have much room for maneuver in the terminals current location.

It's an Atr72 that is in the Kerry route.
Kerry getting into 50++ on some thurs/Friday and Monday flights. Putting an atr72 into Donegal would be a complete waste of seats....

The Donegal-based AT46 also does the DUB-IOM flights, which I would have thought would be more likely to be pushing capacity on it.

N800HH inbound again from HPN/White Plains, NY. Seems to be a regular visitor now, someone can't get enough of the place :)

Registered to Hogs head aviation, likely related to the redevelopment of a Waterville golf course to Hogs head.

High end tourism is doing extraordinary well this season. This is one of the main reasons for the executive jets flying into Faranfore.

N711WM, was in earlier in the summer, lovely machine

Was travelling up the hill beside Kerry yesterday and there was 5 private planes parked up down near the hanger, and that's also taking into account that the based N272NR is in Malaga for a while. Lovely sight it must be said

How do these flights manage with flight crew. Would thry carry a double crew or stop off someplace to change crews ???

Depends on the regulations they operate under, a private Global operating under FAR-91 doesn't have any duty time limits. The same plane operated under FAR-135 (Charter) would need additional crew with a proper crew rest facility.
