Thinking of heading off for a days (guided) fishing for the big ferox
Plenty of lads advertising on Facebook and the like

A few questions - any recommendations for a guide?
    I presume I'd be trolling
Are the ferox plentiful enough to guarantee a good days fishing?

Tomi Kurman or Jacek Gorny - both on facebook and you can google for contact details. Best guides I've ever been out with. Never a guarantee with ferox, there is a small population, but these guys will give you the best chance. I find trolling very boring but it's the only method really for targeting ferox. If the ferox aren't playing ball try lure fishing for brownies/pike, they will put you on good fishing.

Absolutely. Great boats, great tackle, great knowledge, and great craic!

Contact them soon though they're pretty much fully booked up for the early ferox season
