My big issue with the raid is you'll be put into a pack of shouty weirdos who are useless and blame everyone for everything. If there was matchmaking you could just jump in and out of such mayhem but it can take a while to get a group together, it's just not worth the grief.
I certainly have a build and a friend that are raid appropriate, it's getting another six that's the problem.

Im sorry i bought whatever version i did, the €90 one as i got bored after a month, tried it again recently and zzzzzzzzzzzz.
I bought it as RL guys i game with play nothing else but unlike me they are unaware of the sheer amount of content available in true MMO games.
As such ive moved on to elder scrolls online and the sheer amount of content is mind boggling, i passed on it at release but its superb now.

This is why i wanted the division 1 to be expanded with content instead of rehashing the same thing again in a different paint job.
The numbers playing both games have dropped massively where as if they worked on expanding div content with endless content we would have a lot more playing now..
However it is not a subscription based game so content will always be shallow compared to true MMO games.

I bought the year one pass and to be fair, there seems to be a lot of content in the pipe. I loive the game and will continue to play but I've just hit the wall in terms of level and the grind.

Its espedcially treciky for me as I am a solo player. I would think with a few mates, will would be great buzz.

I'm playing a few times a week, L26 and enjoy the game. I've yet to unlock some areas etc, but no problems. I'm more of a solo player, so wouldn't be interested in Raids. I do group up with others when the shout goes up, that can be a laugh sometimes.

Level 13/14 clan vendor is selling a god roll armor chest 30% armor. Not sure if the DZ east is still selling the 11.5% armor legs.
I'm nearly pushing 400K armor now : )

yes I'm aware and it's total bs, you could cheese it by joining a clan at the right level but I don't play enough pvp to bother, it really is one of the crappiest things I've seen done by a developer in a pvp game

Saw a video today with the creator going spare about the game breaking patch. His LMG build has gone from doing 70K to 35K to the body damage. I don't know what he's doing because mine is at 70K with the new specialist (another thing that will need to be nerfed for pvp) and without the extra 15% LMG damage. Plus I'm missing a fupping Petrov chest (with unbreakable) or backpack (with the right roll) that will give me an extra 5K or so I reckon.

Just hop on the official division 2 discord server. You could in in a raid in minutes. Most (not all) of the players there know what they're doing. I average about an hour and a half per run in these. Not great, but not too bad.

So I havent tuned my build dont understand builds and talents etc and went head into a raid lastnite the Americans werent long on to me haha
I guess I need to look in to builds and stats and talents etc. Raid was stressful though not an entirely enjoyable experience with Boomer.

It's explained in several of the missions.

The True Sons used mortars filled with nerve gas on the place. They're almost all dead, and the site is abandoned. It never recovers, and can't unlock.

Dropped in for another monthly game, checked stats to make sure they hadn't broken my spank'n'tank build again...nope...Activated the new Gunner specialisation. Went to do an invaded daily challenging for max spec points but ended up starting a resource interception to get used to things again on the way and ended up Res1+Free roam Boss...then Res Elite...triggered all 3 at once for ****s and giggles and part way through triggered another elite res patrol. Great fun.
Finally did a few missions to build some spec points and it's quite fun, not THE most effective weapon but christ it feels good to pull that thing out and just listen and watch it lay waste to peasants. To be clear I am talking about the mini-gun.
Spent the rest of my night un-characteristically responding to Agent Assistance requests, I'd find somewhere cool to stand and then kinda feel like Batman. Joined one guy on a story mission with GS00, was able to drop him a 500 Merciless at the end....yep...Batman.

I'm up at L30, or actually above it, as it doesn't show my level now. Not very clear what to do now, apart from get rid of all the red bits :-)

At 30 you're ranked by gear score, so it's time to improve your gear, and move up the world tiers, from 1 to 5.

I've a raid ready build on PC and Xbox,sent a clan request to the boards PC clan but never got a reply.

Are many still playing on PC? Would love to run the raid, I'm game if we can get 8 together.

I've had a 4/5 runs with americans but never got past boomer i didnt really know what was going on ro be honest but since have built a very good smg build with great crit hit chance and talents and am ready to go.

Anyone else here on PS4 side want to do this? At this stage I dont care if we end up banging our heads against the wall as long I get to try the damn thing! Lets get a tentative date set for next week. May I suggest Weds or Thurs...as I am on the lash the Friday

Kinda lost interest a few weeks ago. Apart from the Gunner Spec, is there anything to pull you in? For me in Div 1 it was the gear sets that pulled me along, loved my D3 + House build, but the ones in Div 2 are so poor. Just seems there wasn't much to work towards.

Ah well, leave it sit for a while and I'm sure it will mature nicely.

Yeah, got my eagle bearer and have 33K damage with it. Unlocked the gunner.

Ran the raid in 21 minutes last night, just need to do it 3 more times for the week, although that's just to have more than one eagle bearer because I have all the blueprints etc.

So I was thinking I need to make a build for PvP now. It's tough though, because most pvp builds are min maxed unbreakable/shotgun builds and I really don't want to take all my 6/7% AR damage mods off my PvE characters (of which I have 4 lvl 30s).

You can use loadouts.
Options button, X into the character screen and then L2 (on PS)

You can make I think 5 loadouts and cycle through them pretty easy. The only thing that doesn't change when you select the load out is the specialisation but all guns, gear and mods stay the same. I have

Main - which no longer is
LMG - which is largely the same as
Unbreakable and is now my main
PvP I don't know what this is anymore it used to be an smg life steal thing
On The Ropes AR, which is more an explosive skill build in the making
On the Ropes LMG, which I haven't used in a while

that's 6 maybe I deleted one or maybe there's six, although I thought I had a Beserk one still too.

After latest update I can't seem to upgrade my crafting table to 500 when I hold square. It shows new menu. Any idea how this works?

Jumped back into this last night to try out the new content. Really enjoyed the expedition, seemed to be fairly generous with the loot drops and gave me an instant bump from 483 to 489. It felt like a nice middle ground between a typical story mission and something more mechanics driven like a raid. I love that there is an element of exploration and some light puzzle solving involved.

Definitely think I'll be putting some more time in now. My only issue is I'm absolutely lost when it comes to builds etc. My brain scrambles whenever I try to look at my stat sheet and figure out what perks and talents I should be going for. I was aiming for something tanky so had been stacking health and armour for the time being but it still seems rather pointless.

one of the main complaints is there is very little build diversity. You just load up as much armour and gun damage as you can and that's it. You typically look to build around one of the chest perks Unbreakable, Bloodsucker, The little rhino symbol one, Beserk etc

The new update at least brings some build diversity. I set up an explosive one on the demolitionist. It has +20% explosion damage on the chest, mask, gloves and backpack. Patience on the knees. I can just hide behind cover and lob seeker mines out every ten seconds and they're enough to put down most mobs. Realised I didn't even need the chem launcher heal so swapped it to the Drone MG (explosive one is to finicky to use). The Drone chased an end of level boss all over the map before killing it.

I can just about head off and surf the web or watch tv while the skills kill all the npcs.

I do love how easy this game is to jump back into. I tried jumping back into Destiny 2 recently but found the new updates and new content to be so convoluted in their structure that I just turned it off. Destiny very much still wants you to play a certain way and login on a regular basis, whereas in this I feel like I can log back in at any stage and feel rewarded for my time and start having fun immediately.

yeah I hopped on Destiny 2 recently too and it was quite underwhelming. The Division is better in that regard once it gives you something to work towards / new to do.

I loaded the new update yesterday, and tried out the new island college thing, way above my level though. I'm on WT1 and just under 300. Once I get over 300 I should be able to use the sniper rifle.
Really enjoying the game, and I notice that you can now get credited for helping random users on missions, which I haven't seen on other games (not that I play a lot of games though).

yeah haven't seen how this works yet but I had heard the player you help decides at the end of the mission whether to credit you or not. Lots of potential for grief but I don't think the rewards are that important
