Just winding what is the best way to clean this brass clock. Tried a small bit of ketchup but no real result. Brasso leaves residue from memory. Any suggestions? Photo attached. Thanks.

Actually toothpaste and a brush works wonders on brass. Coat it and let it set for about 15 minutes, then use a toothbrush and warm water to clean it.
