Decking tiles

    Hi everyone,

I’m looking at laying down some decking tiles in my garden, Runnen by IKEA.

It recommends the following on their site

"The floor decking is suitable for hard, even surfaces, like for example concrete, stone and wood."

Currently, we have soil there, which gets soft when wet, so need to lay down something on top.

I would like to do it myself... I don’t really want to put down concrete, as it won’t be easy to alter in the future if we change our mind…

Can anyone recommend something I could put down quickly and cheaply which provides a solid surface?

    Thanks

    My advice.

Don't put down decking. It lasts literally fk all time. it's incredibly dangerous when wet . It discolours and needs constant maintenance.

I wouldn't touch it. Been there done that.

Put in a proper patio surface.
