When do mallow swap with kanturk

  • Registered Users Posts: 96 ✭✭pakie ed

Great win for Knocknagree in Junior Final, a small club from a rural part of Cork. The passion and pride was great to see. And their style of football was class, John Fintan's Daly has put his stamp on this Team. Also well done to Kanturk in the intermediate final, must say Shane Beston looks a class act for Mitchelstown

Mallow won Premier Intermediate so they are Cork's representative in Munster club championship Intermediate competition.
Mitchelstown probably left the game behind them, should have had 1-5 scored before Kanturk got off the mark. Kanturk took their chances better. Mitchelstown are a relatively young team with only one of the starting 15 over 30 so hopefully can build on this year.

Probably a bad sign that so many fellas, including those that worked with him last year (sully and the two pats) seem to not want to row in with him this year.

That and it taking so long to announce it appears he's almost having to beg fellas

Will there be a 2018 range of jackets/sportswear, or are they sticking with what they had this year? If they have new stuff - Will this be released before Christmas?

Looking to get my younger brother a christmas present so would appreciate the help. Thanks

looking at the O'Neills website they have a 3 for 2 offer on the jerseys but no offer on the leisure wear.

I think the board missed the Christmas market with a new jersey a few years ago so best not leave things too late

Kanturk beat Ballyduff 1-20 to 2-12 to reach the inyermediate final

With regards the hurling panel next year, is there anybody ye would like to see given a good run off games in the league with the hope of making it to the championship starting 15, or impact subs.

I'd like to see young Dooley from the Glen, big strong young and aggressive, he made serious leaps from last year.
Maurice o Carroll from Erin's own. Again a big strong teak tough forward.
Will Leahy definitely deserves another shot, I'm not a fan though.

Can’t see her doing much for shaking things up. Only there to satisfy her own ego

That's a very unfair comment on Tracey Kennedy appointment to the Chair of the Cork County Board . Tracey is a excellent organiser, and will bring a freshness to the gaa in Cork.

hopefully she will. not having a go at her but the way people move up through the different roles now without election isn't a great way to do things imo.

Don’t believe she will bring anything positive to the role. Some recent stories I’ve heard about how she has dealt with people is concerning. She could make some of the recent chairmen look like superstars
