    Dell laptop
    Windows 10

I think our child did something to it
Some of the keys do weird things.

Eg: the letter "g" now prints the system time & date to the screen.... while in Chrome it has the function of refreshing the page.
"Enter" key creates the letter "v".
"F" key now produces the hash # symbol.

    Weird stuff like that.

    We tried switching languages.
We tried a system restore point

    We are flummoxed.

    Any advise appreciated!!

Try an external or bluetooth keyboard to confirm it.

My guess is liquid spill. And a trip to ebay looking for a replacement keyboard. Possibly menus triggered by stuck windows or alt or ctrl keys

Dell do manuals so you can see if you need to use a screwdriver.
May just need a credit card to push the plastic retainers at the top off the keyboard back.
