Would you class your parents as friends now your adults or do you prefer a divide. Most ppl I know are very close to their parents but when does it become unhealthy?

Depends on your relationship and the people themselves. I was always close to my parents, but as an adult they were always careful to never interfere or be intrusive or try to exert undue influence over my choices. Time I spent with them was my choice, not engineered through duty or guilt. If an adults parents cast them in the role of child and themselves in a role of authority, I don't see how it's possible to have a 'friends' type relationship with them.

    Everyone's different.
