I'm looking to trade my guitar in a UK store and need to arrange delivery myself. Does anyone know the best way to deliver a guitar to the UK? Preferably insured. There isn't much info online only a few threads on here but they are all 6 or 7 years old.

I would have thought DHL or the likes could do that, have never tried myself with anything as big as a guitar though!

Not sure about the logistics, but a hard )flight) case would be essential.
A similar, cheaper and perhaps better (much lighter) option would be a foam case.
These are usually for standard electics, not often seen for acoustics.
