Ring door view cam - Peephole retrofit

The vibration sensor is a nice feature, as many people could see the standard ring doorbell and choose to knock.
Easy retrofit for renters/people moving apartments and take it with you. It still has the peephole viewer as a fall back and connects to Echo show etc.

Enjoy all the benefits of a Video Doorbell – HD video, two-way talk and motion-activated notifications – in a sleek, compact form that’s perfectly designed for homes and flats with a compatible peephole. It installs in minutes, senses knocks and lets you see who’s at your door from anywhere. So you can spend less time worrying about home and more time enjoying your every day.

I have had this installed for the past few months. Firmware was a little flakey to begin with but most recent update has fixed most of the issues.
Battery life not tremendous though. 100% to 40% in 6 weeks or so.

Picture quality is good. Night vision works well. Knock detection is ok though can be triggered if the door is slammed sometimes.

Anyone that's bought this, have they used it with a composite door (palladio specifically)? Ring say can only be used on max 55mm doors but the composite is 65mm thick.

It's also down to €99 on the Ring EU store, if anyone's looking for one.
