I am currently undertaking a dissertation for my final year and the subject I have chosen is Photovoltaics and their use in construction in Ireland. Traffic management systems use small pv panels. try a hire company.

Many of the road side double yellow flashing lights - warning of a school ahead (here in south mayo) have small pv panels. These seem to work even on the darkest days in winter!
