It's been like this in much of the print media since the days of 'Phew What a Scorcher!' back in 1976. My pet hate is when those pesky 'mini tornadoes' occur here.

Yeah. on Monday over here they were saying "snow by the weekend". In the Cairngorms. There should be a rule whereby anyone who writes such sensationalist rubbish is suspended without pay immediately while an immediate investigation launched into how they came to be reporting on anything in the first place.

Isnt it gas too when there is a storm they zoom the camera in on a big puddle to make it look like a flood or go to a tree(that theyve probably cut down and placed a car under)

Very windy here right now heard a dog bark. must be 40knots so I guess some respect though I reckon the showers will be quite unpleasant to be in tomorrow but that is all. Wish that dog outside would blow away.

If you don't know you are better off!

The lovely lady on the weather didn't even mention an ex-hurricane never mind the real thing. Just a bit blowy on Friday.

Potential for 120km/hr gusts around here tomorrow, can't imagine it'll be anything too exciting, just a horrible day. Probably some impressive seas for anyone who happens to be on the north coast. Cold as well, down to 7C so maybe a small chance of some snowfall on top of the mountains overnight

    Wayne Rooney's wife.
Heat magazine. Or any of that other inane crap that women read when they realise that they have to spend an hour or two in their own company or chatting inane crap to one of their friends on the phone.
I apologise for profaning this place with the presence of such thrash.
