Looking through one branch of the family, it looks like one individual had the surname Farrelly in 3 of the 4 sets of grand parents. From what I can tell, they are all from the same part of Cavan, and from looking online it seems that Farrelly is a popular name around those parts. I'm just wondering if anyone has any light to shed on this - I know there are some 'traditional' names and places around the country, but Farrelly isn't one I've heard much about.

Obviously I'm hoping that Farrelly is "a Cavan name" and these ancestors were not closely related and there were no lines crossing that shouldn't have crossed .
