    Hello,

I am looking for some information please! Does anyone know of any art schools on the South Side or in the City Centre?I am not looking to study it professionally its just for a hobby.

I previously went to Brushstroke in Fairview which was great but I am now living on South Side and cant seem to find any schools for people who just want to keep up painting as a hobby?

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks a mill

Trinity Artswork shop do classes along with City life drawing..google them or check the sticky above for more details. there's also the dublin sketchers (free), who aren't a class but just a group of artists who sketch in various parts around the city on Sundays :)

There is also a group called Plein Eire - who do just that - paint outdoors in a group. It is a great way of meeting people with similar interests - many of whom do use oils. They have recently started up a Dublin arm of the group - Link here: http://pleineire.ning.com/group/pleineiredublin

The Dublin Sketchers site is here: www.dublinsketchers.blogspot.com and their sister group who meet midweek in Rathmines as linked in Snorlax's signature: http://www.rathminessketchers.blogspot.com/

Also, the Trinity Arts Workshop do various classes - check out their page here: http://trinityartsworkshop.webatu.com/

Mod: AmandaWolf, you've posted the same suggestion three times today, all on threads that are at least 7 years old (this one is 11!). Please stop spamming. You've already been warned about this before, next time you'll get an infraction.
