Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Heading to France for 2 weeks next week. Thinking of heading to Hossegor for a few days at the end to catch the Quiksilver Pro. Any recommendations for accommodation down that way? Its been a long time since I was last there. Is it feasible to stay near a central beach and cycle to where the comp goes each day? Not sure…

Any experiences with combined surf school and accommodation packages? Any other travel tips appreciated!
