These are all amazing guy's,I'm very impressed.
This is something I've been thinking about getting into for a while now.I would have no interest in playing games with them, but i love the idea of painting and setting out my own displays/battles.
I would be very grateful of anyone would have any hint or tips to a newbie e.g good paint kits, essential tools etc. Will i find most of what in need in a Gamesworkshop.
Thanks in advance and once again great work guy's.

If u are planning on painting Warhammer then yes your best bet is to go to a Gamesworkshop or somewhere that specialises in warhammer depending on where you are based.

He was going to be my Nob in Gorkamorka, but now I no plans of playing it, I've got him 3 other bikes 20 boys and some nobs. Maybe one day I'll collect an orc army but for now he is going to gather dust.

He's my first orky project though, really liked converting it.

    Your Kans look amazing dude!

Yup that's the one. Glad to hear it looks better in RL. The photo's can show up the shortcuts I took in the painting.

I did the Kan and the dread in the cabinet in there and I'm working on the flashgit next.
I'll have to see if I remembered to get some finished shots of the Dread that I can post.

    Thanks for teh comment.

Gorka morka is a lot of fun. It got me started on orks wayy back when.

You know if you want to play 40K you're pretty close to a 500pts army there if you throw a lot of expensive upgrades at the nob bikers.
Example of a 495 "army" with all of 6 figures below :)

    HQ: Warboss (1#, 155 Pts)
1 Warboss, Power Klaw; Shoota/Skorcha Kombi-weapon; Attack Squig; Cybork Body; Warbike

    Troops: Nobz (5#, 340 Pts)
    4 Nobz, Count as Troop Troops; Big Choppa (x1); Choppa (x1); Power Klaw (x2); Slugga (x2); Shoota/Skorcha Kombi-weapon (x2); Twin-linked Dakkagun; Bosspole (x1); Waaagh! Banner (x1); Warbike
1 Painboy, 'Urty Syringe; Twin-linked Dakkagun; Dok's Tools; Warbike

Our club in Kildare has started playtesting the new sci-fi rules based on the Ambush Alley Rules http://thehobbydenwargamesreview.weebly.com/evraz.html. We got to talking and decided we need some new 28mm sci-fi units. So this is my contribution so far. Armour from GW,figures from Urban Mammoth and EM-4.
I tried a new method to me this involved priming the figures with Army painter grey painting aon detail and the washing them with army painter dip then everything was sprayed with army painter matt varnish. This produced a very fast result this lot only took me about 4 evenings to do.
I got all the army painter dips and sprays from the Kildare based wargaming shop www.thehobbyden.com .
